FAQs
What are the differences between the parties?
The main differences between our catered parties are the inclusion of a room or a reserved table in an area shared with other tables and parties, and if the party includes a host to assist with the running of the party itself.
All of our catered parties have the same food and drink included which is a bottle of water for each guest, popcorn on the table, 3 slices of pizza per child, and an ice-cream birthday cake. In a catered party everything you need is included, from plates and cutlery, to napkins and candles. You wouldn’t need to bring a thing! Our self-catered parties on the other hand are a blank canvas for you to generate your own party experience and you would have to bring everything that you need.
What do you have to pay and when?
On booking the party you will be required to pay a $200 deposit. The balance of the payment is due on the day shortly after all the guests are checked in.
What if I have to cancel my party?
If you have to cancel your party then we will do everything to assist you in either moving the party to another suitable time or providing you with a refund. If the cancellation is more that 14 days in advance we can offer a full refund however inside of 14 days we will offer you a credit voucher to be used in the store.
Can I change the party package at a later date?
Yes – subject to availability. Simply contact us and we will try and assist?
What does a party host do?
A party host is there to help your party run smoothly, and make the experience more seamless. Whilst un-hosted parties are required to check in at reception, the hosted parties are directed straight to their respective table or room, where the host can check the guests in and provide them with grip socks, wrist bands and get them involved sooner! Hosts will take the children up to the activities and spend time with them in the centre, they will serve food and drinks, serve and cut the cake, and generally provide assistance wherever they can.
Do you include plates, cutlery, tablecloths and decorations?
Our catered parties do include plates, cutlery and napkins! Everything you need for a successful party will be provided. Self catered parties do need to provide their own plates and cutlery, although there are napkins available at the tables. We do not provide tablecloths for the tables as they are timber finished laminate tables, but you are more than welcome to bring in your own tablecloths if you wish to. We do not include table decorations. You are welcome to bring your own decorations into the centre but you cannot attach anything to the walls or roof.
How many people do I book for?
Whilst each party has a minimum and a maximum number, we do suggest booking for your intended number of guests. If you are unsure then simply book for the minimum number of guests. You will be able to change the number of guests up until 3 days before the party. If you reach the maximum number of guests and require more places then please contact us to discuss how we can help you manage adding guests over and above the maximum advertised.
Does the birthday child get included as a guest?
Yes. Include the birthday child in the number of party guests.
What if guests don’t turn up on the day?
You are expected to pay for the minimum number of guests. If you have more than the minimum number of guests we will provide a small credit for any guests over and above the minimum who don’t turn up on the day.
How can I get the party invitations?
When you book a party, the invitation will be provided electronically via a link in the confirmation email. You are welcome to attend the centre and collect hard copies of the party invitations at no charge.
Can we bring in food from outside the centre?
Yes you are welcome to bring in food from outside the centre for both party guests and the adults who are attending. The only restriction is that you cannot bring alcohol into the centre.
I’ve booked a party with a bonus hour included. How does that work?
The bonus hours are available for 5pm and 6pm parties and extend the party from a 2 hour party to three hours. Your guests will be able to participate in any activity in the centre during that bonus hour regardless of what party package was booked.
What pizzas are included with the party?
We include 3 slices of pizza per child. You will be able to select from a number of pizza toppings which include BBQ Meat, Ham & Cheese, Hawaiian, Pepperoni, Vegetarian, Margherita, Cheese and Garlic & Cheese. BBQ Chicken Pizza’s are available but cost and additional $4.50. Gluten Free pizza bases are available and these also cost an additional $4.50. Please contact us for specific dietary requirements and we can discuss what is available.
Are the pizza’s Halal?
If you require Halal catering options we suggest the following pizzas, as they don’t contain any meat: Vegetarian, Margherita, Cheese and Garlic & Cheese.
Is A Birthday Cake included?
Yes we include a birthday cake with our catered party packages. One cake usually serves around 14 children, and we will bring out additional cakes to cater for additional paid guests at no additional charge. If you require additional cake for adult guests we can provide this but it will be an additional charge.
Does the Party Package include Party Favours?
Some party packages do include Party Favours – check the party inclusions to confirm.
Are Grip Socks included for each guest?
Each paid guest will be provided a pair of 360 Grip Socks either by the host of the party or at reception when checking in.
What additional Food Is Available?
You can order additional pizzas or bowls of hot chips (each serve approximately 6 – 8 children) as part of your party package. You can also add Slushy Drinks for your guests too. The Onsite Café serves a variety of snacks, food and drinks which can be ordered on site from the café during your party.
Are there any special party discounts?
Weekday parties during the school term attract a 10% discount, and our 5pm and 6pm parties include a bonus hour of activities in the centre. These options are all available when booking on line.
